Temperature definition

Temperature is the physical quantity that indicates the degree of heat and cold of an object. Microscopically, it is the severity of thermal motion of an object's molecules. The temperature can only be measured indirectly by some characteristic of the object as a function of temperature, and the scale used to measure the temperature value of the object is called the temperature scale. It specifies the starting point (zero point) of the temperature reading and the basic unit of the measured temperature. The theoretical high pole is the "Planck temperature", while the theoretical low pole is "absolute zero." “Planck temperature” and “absolute zero” are not achieved through limited steps. At present, the internationally used temperature scales include Celsius temperature scale (°C), Fahrenheit temperature scale (°F), thermodynamic temperature scale (K) and international practical temperature scale.
