Technical magnetization features
Ferromagnetic materials and other magnetically ordered materials with magnetic domain structure (collectively referred to as ferromagnetic materials) exhibit the following four main characteristics in the process of technical magnetization.
① The ferromagnetic substance is in an unmagnetized state when not subjected to the external magnetic field H, also known as the demagnetized state
②The non-linearity of the magnetization curve is due to the irreversible process in addition to the reversible process of the wall shift process and the domain switching process when magnetized by an external magnetic field.
③ Like the magnetization curve, the hysteresis loop is also produced by the irreversible wall shift and domain turning process.
④The magnetization (except saturation magnetization) and the shape of the hysteresis loop generated by the technical magnetization process are all structural sensitivity (property).
