Tactical missile definition
Tactical missiles are missiles used to destroy tactical targets in a battle. Its range is usually within 1,000 kilometers, and most of them are short-range missiles. It is mainly used to attack nuclear attack weapons, assembled forces, tanks, aircraft, ships, radars, command posts, airports, ports, railway junctions and bridges within the tactical depth of enemy campaigns. Since the 1950s, conventional tactical missiles have been used extensively in many local wars, becoming one of the important weapons in modern warfare.
