Suspension system components
1.Spring
The device used to cushion vibrations uses the deformation of the spring to absorb energy. The common spring type is a "ring spring", and other springs used in automobiles are also "plate spring" and "torsion rod spring".
2. Shock absorber
A device used to cushion vibration and absorb energy. The inside of the shock absorber pushes the valve body by pressure generated by liquid or gas to absorb the vibration energy and slow down the vibration. Shock absorbers using pneumatic pressure are generally more expensive than those using hydraulic pressure. A small number of high-priced shock absorbers will be designed with liquid and air pressure sharing.
3. Anti-roll bar
The two ends of the rods resembling a "ㄇ" shape are respectively connected to the left and right suspension devices. When the left and right wheels are moved up and down respectively, a torsion force is generated and the rods are twisted by themselves, and the rods are subjected to force. The reaction force generated keeps the left and right sides of the car at a similar height. Therefore, the "anti-roll bar" is also called "torsion bar", "anti-roll bar", "balance bar", "torque balance bar", "stationary bar" and so on.
