1. Building a modern automobile industrial park. Facing the globalization of the automobile industry today, the environment has become one of the important factors for enterprises to participate in market competition. For FAW to integrate into globalization and determine its position, it must have a good investment and cooperation environment. In order to completely change the location of the factory and the community, in October 2000, FAW began a large-scale environmental renovation project for the modernization of the enterprise. In accordance with the needs of the factory's production and operation, planning and development, the overall layout of the plant area will be adjusted, and the FAW plant area will be built into a regional forest-type factory that is in line with international standards. The factory will form several areas such as light, sedan and medium-duty trucks. The renovation project was completed at the 50th anniversary of FAW. A colorful and green automobile industrial park has been presented to the world.
2. Building a conservation-oriented enterprise. Over the years, FAW has invested nearly 700 million yuan in environmental protection and pollution prevention. From 2001 to 2004, the accumulated investment in energy-saving technology transformation and promotion funds was 200 million yuan, and 131 technological transformation projects were completed. It has achieved energy saving benefits of more than 80 million yuan. From 1999 to 2004, FAW invested 336 million yuan in pollution control and environmental transformation, and built 23 sewage treatment stations (factories), which enabled wastewater treatment capacity to reach 37,600 tons/day and waste emulsion treatment capacity of 20,000 tons. / Year, the waste acid treatment capacity is 12,000 tons / year, COD 3360 tons / year, and oil 237 tons / year. At the same time, 56 sets (sets) of flue gas treatment facilities have been established, with a processing capacity of 9.264 billion cubic meters per year, 210,000 tons/year of smoke reduction, and 5,000 tons/year of hazardous waste collection and disposal, which fully reflects the promotion of FAW. China's automobile industry develops, builds a conservation-oriented enterprise, saves resources, improves the environment, and realizes the contribution made by the harmonious development of people, vehicles and society.
3. As a very large state-owned enterprise, the group company has been enthusiastic about various public welfare undertakings and has given back to the society with practical actions. All employees are always making their own efforts to build a harmonious society. The group company has carried out many donation activities with the theme of “dedicating one heart and adding one point of harmony”. The company’s trade unions organized and issued initiatives to all employees, and they were concerned by the leaders of party political workers at all levels. All employees of FAW are very supportive of the donation activities, and donate their home idle items, daily necessities, books and other daily necessities to help more people in need.
4. On August 16, 2006, Tianjin FAW donated RMB 1.3 million to the China Red Cross Foundation to build 20 Bo'ai Health Center stations. The Pok Oi Health Center project was initiated by the China Red Cross Foundation to focus on the efforts of all sectors of society to address the medical and health conditions in the poor areas. In order to ensure that the donation is actually used where it is most needed, Tianjin FAW announced that the site selection of the donated health stations and health centers will be carried out in a publicly recommended manner to select areas where medical conditions are urgently needed.
On May 27, 2008, FAW Group and China Red Cross Foundation signed a letter of intent for donation. The group company applied to the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council several times, and strived to donate employee donations to the disaster-stricken areas. Under the guidance of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and the China Red Cross Foundation, FAW donated a school in Sichuan to rebuild the teaching building and the teaching facilities for the former subsidiary school of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (China Water Resources and Hydropower Tenth Engineering Bureau Children's School). After the completion of the school, the primary school title was titled “China FAW Hongqi Boai Primary School” and the middle school was titled “China FAW Jiefang Boai Middle School”.
In order to carry forward the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation's education and education, and practice the social responsibility of state-owned enterprises, FAW Group carried out the "333 Love and Help" project in the Sichuan disaster area with the aim of "cultivating a technician and supporting a family", namely: 3 years Donated 3 million yuan to help 300 students attend secondary professional schools. After graduation, they will be employed in FAW Chengdu enterprises. FAW Group selected two state-level key secondary vocational schools - Chengdu Industrial School and Chengdu Transportation School as the designated schools for FAW Love Education. Each year, 100 students are sponsored, and each school has a "FAW Love Helping Class". Each class of 50 students is directed to train the skilled workers required by FAW in Chengdu.
