Roewe
ROEWE is a car brand owned by Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation. It was launched in October 2006. The car technology under the brand comes from Rover, which was previously acquired by Shanghai Automotive, but Shanghai Automotive did not acquire the “Rover” brand.
On October 12, 2006, Shanghai Automotive (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Shanghai Automotive Co., Ltd.” officially announced that its own brand was named “ROEWE”, and it was intended to “innovate and honor the world”. Roewe's brand has developed rapidly in the past four years, and its products have covered the mid-level car and mid- to high-end car market. “Technology” has become the brand label of Roewe. The slogan of the Roewe brand is “Quality Technology Knows You”.
