Roadblock introduction
Roadblocks are obstacles that block road traffic. They can be used as barriers for fences during road construction, oil security roadblocks to prevent terrorist attacks outside important buildings, or roadblocks temporarily built by demonstrators in large demonstrations.
The use of roadblocks may have originated in the turbulent Paris of the 16th century. Under the control of King Henry III, the French people lived hard. The proponents of the Duke of Gis went to the streets on May 12, 1588, and built roadblocks on the streets. The history is called "First Day of the Barricades". In the next two centuries, roadblocks played an extremely important role in the major social movements in France.
