The Paris International Automobile Exhibition is abbreviated as the Paris Motor Show. It originated from the International Automobile Salon in 1898 and was held every year until 1976. Since then, it has been changed to once every two years to meet the requirements of most automobile manufacturers. Held from the end of September to the beginning of October each year, the exhibition hall is the Paris Exhibition Center. Corresponding to the Frankfurt Motor Show, the Paris Motor Show is held in even-numbered years, mainly private cars and engineering vehicles, while the bicycle and motorcycle exhibitions are held in odd-numbered years. France is one of the birthplaces of automobiles, and the world's first auto show was also held in France. Although many new auto shows have been born since 1898, the Paris Motor Show, as the "first" auto show, still plays an important role in France and even the world. The feature of the Paris Auto Show is that French and European manufacturers exhibit more, highlighting the characteristics of European cars. The novel and unique design style of French cars was revealed in the Paris Motor Show. At the same time, a large number of concept cars is also a major feature of the Paris Motor Show. Various novel concept cars often give the audience a strong sense of novelty and fashion. The Paris Motor Show always revolves around the word "new". At the same time, the Paris Motor Show is also a sea of concept cars, and various new and weird concept cars often make the audience shine. 140,000 people participated in the first Paris Motor Show. In 2000, the number of exhibitors increased tenfold to 1.4 million, including 8,500 journalists from 81 countries.
