Organic whole definition
Organic whole refers to a state in which artistic elements—themes, forms, and content—are so dynamic and interdependent that they are like living organisms. A work with an "organic whole" does not guarantee that it is "extraordinary" or outstanding. An organic whole is the interconnection and interaction of the parts that make up the whole. For example, the human body is an organic whole. All organs and tissues cooperate and support each other to form a unified and lively human body. That is, the interconnected parts of a whole.
