Medical surgical instrument lubricant characteristics

Most commonly used medical devices are iron instruments with a nickel-chromium layer on the surface. When the nickel-chromium layer is destroyed, impure iron (carbon-containing) is exposed to the air, and oxidation occurs when it comes into contact with oxygen and water, causing rust. The use of medical surgical instrument lubricants can effectively avoid or delay the rust of surgical instruments. The ideal medical surgical instrument lubricant should meet the following characteristics:

1. Water-soluble lubricant, stable effect every time, ensuring effective penetration of sterilization.

2. Effectively lubricate the joints of the device to make the device more flexible.

3. Anti-corrosion and extend the service life of the instrument.

4. Less auxiliary additives, reducing residue and speckle residue on the surface of the device.

5. The foam is low and does not affect the normal use of the washing machine.

6. The components are safe and environmentally friendly.
