Magnetic fluid is a new type of functional material, which has both the fluidity of liquid and the magnetic properties of solid magnetic material. It is a stable colloidal liquid composed of magnetic solid particles with a diameter of nanometer level (below 10 nanometers), a base carrier liquid and a surfactant.
