Isotropic introduction

When there are an infinite number of symmetry axes inside an object, the properties in any direction are the same, and there is no directionality in the entire medium. Such a property is called isotropy. For example, a simple homogeneous sphere commonly used in geometry is an isotropic body. Isotropy can be regarded as the opposite nature of anisotropy or as a special case of anisotropy.
