Redshift In the field of physics and astronomy, it refers to the phenomenon that the electromagnetic radiation of an object decreases in frequency for some reason. In the visible light band, the spectral line of the spectrum moves a certain distance toward the red end, that is, the wavelength becomes longer and the frequency decreases. The phenomenon of redshift is currently mostly used to predict the movement and regularity of celestial bodies.
