Introduction to Magmatism
Magmatism refers to a series of changes of magma itself and its surrounding rocks during the whole process of magma's formation, movement, and condensation. Magmatism is another form of manifestation that can be released outside the earth. Magmatism can be divided into eruption and intrusion. The corresponding magmatic rocks are called volcanic rocks and intrusive rocks.
