Introduction to Higgs Boson

Higgs boson (English: Higgs boson) is a boson with zero spin predicted by the standard model of particle physics. It has no charge and color charge and is extremely unstable. It will decay immediately after being generated. In 1964, British scientist Peter Higgs proposed the existence of the Higgs field, and then predicted the existence of the Higgs boson. In the Higgs mechanism, the Higgs field causes spontaneous symmetry breaking, and gives quality to norm propagation and fermion. The Higgs particle is a field quantized excitation of the Higgs field, which gains mass through self-interaction.
