How radar works

Radar is the transliteration of Radar (RadioDetectionAndRanging), which means "radio detection and ranging", that is, the use of radio waves to detect and determine the position of the target, which is also the function of radar equipment in the initial stage. A typical radar system is mainly composed of transmitter, antenna, receiver, data processing, timing control, display and other equipment. The radar can be used to know the presence or absence of the target, the slant distance of the target, the angular position of the target, and the relative speed of the target. Modern high-resolution radar expands the original radar concept, making it capable of imaging and identifying moving targets (aircraft, missiles, etc.) and regional targets (ground, etc.). The application of radar is becoming more and more extensive.
