Generator voltage adjustment rate

The voltage regulation rate of the generator is also called the voltage change rate. When the excitation current and speed of the synchronous motor are at a certain value, the voltage change when the synchronous motor changes from rated power to no-load under a given power factor is expressed as a percentage of the rated voltage. The rate of voltage change mainly depends on the degree of saturation and the size of the armature response. The higher the degree of saturation, the smaller the armature response and the smaller the rate of voltage change. In addition, when the transformer is under the conditions of rated frequency, current, power factor and secondary winding terminal voltage, when the transformer is converted from rated load to load, the percentage of the change in the secondary winding terminal voltage to the rated voltage.
