Description of the intake system
Intake system definition
The air intake system is composed of an air filter, an air flow meter, an intake pressure sensor, a throttle body, an additional air valve, an idle speed control valve, a resonant cavity, a power chamber, and an intake manifold.
Intake system function
The main function of the air intake system is to deliver clean, dry, sufficient and stable air to the engine to meet the needs of the engine, to avoid airborne impurities and large particles of dust entering the engine combustion chamber causing abnormal engine wear. Another important function of the air intake system is to reduce noise.
