deliquescence characteristics
Deliquescence is the process by which a solid absorbs water. Deliquescence to form a solution is a physical change, and deliquescence to form a hydrate is a chemical change. If the water vapor pressure of a substance is lower than the water vapor pressure in the air, the equilibrium will proceed in the direction of deliquescence, and the water molecules will move to the surface of the substance. In addition, this phenomenon is also related to the humidity in the air.
