critical phenomenon concept
Critical phenomenon refers to the special physical properties and phenomena that a substance is in or near a critical state. In 1869, when T. Andrews studied the difference between the density of carbon dioxide gas and liquid, it was found that when the temperature was 31.04 ℃, the density of gas and liquid became the same, and the boundary between the two phases disappeared, which was called the critical state.
