1.Good fuel economy

There is no AT's retracting phenomenon during sudden acceleration. The CVT system has a wide transmission ratio, generally 2.40-0.395, and the engine speed is low at high speed. The noise is small, allowing the driver and passengers to enjoy the quiet and relaxed comfort of the journey.

4. Good handling

The CVT transmission is matched to the torque converter, and the torque converter can amplify the engine torque, so the start is faster and the acceleration is smoother. When the corner is bent at a high speed, the throttle is released without the upshift of the AT, and the torque can be kept at a high speed. CVT has better engine braking effect than AT. CVT can automatically detect the slope when going up and down, automatically adjust the speed ratio to increase the torque output when going uphill, and increase the engine braking torque when going downhill to reduce the downhill slope. The speed of taxiing improves safety and handling.

6. Less harmful gas emissions

Because the CVT can achieve closed-loop control with the engine, the engine can often operate in the economic speed range, improve the combustion process, thereby reducing harmful gas emissions, and can extend the service life of the three-way catalyst and oxygen sensor. ZF Germany's self-produced CVT loading test has reduced harmful emissions by about 10% compared to vehicles equipped with a 4-speed automatic transmission, greatly reducing environmental pollution.

7. Low cost

The CVT system has a simple structure and a much smaller number of components than AT. Once mass production begins, the cost of CVT will be smaller than that of AT. With the large-scale production and the innovation of systems and materials, the production cost of CVT will be further reduced. The cost of assembly and maintenance is declining, and its simple structure and low cost and excellent performance make the future of CVT very broad.
