Coated fuel particles are a mixed fuel body made of fissile material or fissile material-convertible material mixture wrapped by a cover layer dispersed in a graphite matrix. It is a new type of fuel element form. It not only improves the safety of the fuel element in terms of design principles, but also reflects its inherent safety characteristics through actual irradiation tests.
