Characteristics of weak interactions
1. The only interaction that can change the flavor of quark.
2. The only interaction that makes parity non-conservative. It is therefore also the only interaction that violates CP symmetry.
3. Interactions mediated by quality canonical bosons. This unusual feature can be derived from the Higgs mechanism of the standard model.
