Odorless, colorless, water-soluble and hygroscopic liquid, soluble in water and toluene. Has a spicy sweetness, non-corrosive, low toxicity. The boiling point is 233°C, the melting point is -38.9°C, the freezing point is -10.45°C, the flash point is 137°C, the refractive index n20/D: 1.439, the relative density is 1.0252, and the refractive index is 1.4407. The viscosity is 107mPa·s (20℃). Flash point (open cup) 137.8 ℃. Soluble in water and toluene.
