Butterworth filter
The Butterworth filter is a design classification of filters, which uses the Butterworth transfer function, and has multiple filter types such as high-pass, low-pass, band-pass, and band-stop.
The Butterworth filter has stable amplitude-frequency characteristics inside and outside the passband, but has a longer transition band, which can easily cause distortion in the transition band.
