Baowo Automotive Products
German engineer Carl Bower founded the Baowo car brand in 1919. In July 2016, Baowo launched its first SUV, the BX7, to the domestic market. Subsequently, BX5, BX7 TS, BXi7 and BX6 were launched one after another. Baowo built the SUV product matrix. On December 28, 2018, Baowo Automobile and Shenzhou UCAR jointly announced that the two sides will conclude a comprehensive strategic partnership to jointly develop a new retail model for automobiles. It is reported that China UCAR led the restructuring of a company, and in conjunction with the other two, the partnership won a 67% stake in Baowo, the purchase price of 3.868 billion yuan.
Baowo's products include the traditional energy models BX7, BX7 TS, BX5, BX6 and the new energy model BXi7.
Baowo BX7
The Baowo BX7 uses a 2.0L turbocharged direct injection engine with powerful power of 28T 165kW and 300N·m. The BORGWARD 4MAX intelligent full-time four-wheel drive system features an advanced electronically controlled multi-plate clutch and an optional eLSD electronic limited slip differential.
Baowo BX7 TS
The Baowo BX7 TS is equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged direct injection engine with a maximum power of 180kW and a maximum torque of 340Nm. The 0-100km/h acceleration takes only 9.0 seconds. At the same time, with the Aisin 6-speed manual transmission, the new adjustable sports suspension can achieve a comprehensive fuel consumption of up to 7.6L.
Baowo BX5
The Baowo BX5 is equipped with the new 1.4T turbocharged direct injection engine from Baowo. It also matches the 6AT gearbox and 6-speed manual transmission from Aisin. The maximum power is 110kW and the maximum torque is 250N·m.
Baowo BX6
The four-wheel drive sharp GTSUV - Baowo BX6, all equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged engine, the maximum output of 224 horsepower, peak torque of 300 Nm, matching 9-module 6-speed manual transmission.
Baowo BXi7
The Baowo BXi7 is a four-wheel drive pure electric SUV based on the e-Propulsion pure electric power platform. It is equipped with dual independent motors with an efficiency output of up to 94.5% and a maximum torque of 390N·m, while achieving a speed of 7.9 seconds and 100 kilometers.
