Amplifier type
1. Voltage Amplifier - This is the most common type of amplifier. The input voltage is amplified to a larger output voltage. The amplifier has a high input impedance and a low output impedance.
2. Current Amplifier - This amplifier can turn the input current into a large output current. The amplifier has a low input impedance and a high output impedance.
3. Transconductance Amplifier - The amplifier's response to varying input voltages provides an associated varying output current.
4. Transimpedance Amplifier - The amplifier's response to varying input currents provides an associated varying output voltage. Other names for this device are transimpedance amplifiers and current-to-voltage converters.
