Air viscosity definition

Air viscosity, also known as aerodynamic viscosity, formerly known as viscosity coefficient. A physical quantity that characterizes air viscosity. It is the ability of a molecular free layer to collide against shear deformation.

When the velocity gradient of air is 1, the viscous friction on the unit area of the layer is the air viscosity. Because it contains the dynamic unit, it is also called the aerodynamic viscosity coefficient. Air viscosity is an attribute of air that characterizes the viscosity of the air. The amount of air viscosity is closely related to temperature.
